Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced QA Manager or QC Manager to oversee quality assurance or quality control operations within our chemical manufacturing facility. The ideal candidate will ensure compliance with regulatory standards, implement quality control processes, and drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize product quality and safety.
Responsibilities:

Develop and implement quality assurance policies and procedures to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.

Establish and maintain quality control standards for raw materials, intermediate products, and finished goods to meet customer specifications and quality expectations.

Conduct regular audits and inspections of manufacturing processes, facilities, and equipment to identify areas for improvement and ensure adherence to quality standards.

Lead investigations into product quality issues, non-conformances, and customer complaints, and implement corrective and preventive actions to address root causes and prevent recurrence.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams including production, R&D, procurement, and logistics to resolve quality-related issues and drive continuous improvement initiatives.

Manage the calibration and maintenance of laboratory equipment and instrumentation to ensure accurate and reliable test results.

Develop and deliver training programs for employees on quality assurance principles, procedures, and best practices to enhance quality awareness and compliance.

Prepare and maintain documentation including SOPs, batch records, test reports, and quality records to support regulatory compliance and product traceability.

Stay current with industry trends, regulatory changes, and best practices in quality management to drive ongoing improvement initiatives and ensure the highest levels of product quality and safety.

Lead and mentor a team of QA/QC professionals, providing guidance, support, and coaching to foster a culture of quality excellence and continuous improvement.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or related field. Advanced degree preferred.

Minimum of 7 years of experience in quality assurance and quality control roles within the chemical manufacturing industry.

Strong knowledge of quality management systems, regulatory requirements (e.g., ISO, cGMP, FAMI-QS Certificate), and quality control methodologies.

Proven experience in leading quality improvement projects, conducting root cause analysis, and implementing corrective and preventive actions.

Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills with meticulous attention to detail.

Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate cross-functionally and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization.

Proficiency in MS Office applications and quality management software tools.

Knowledge of chemical testing methods, analytical techniques, and laboratory instrumentation.

Demonstrated commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement principles.
