The Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) plays a pivotal role in aligning human resources strategies with business objectives. This position is responsible for providing strategic HR support to business units within the organization, fostering a positive work environment, and ensuring the implementation of HR initiatives to drive employee engagement and organizational effectiveness.
  • Collaborate with business leaders to understand their goals and objectives, and provide HR support to achieve those objectives.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to management, offering guidance on HR-related matters and contributing to business strategy development.
  • Oversee talent acquisition processes, including recruitment, selection, and onboarding, to ensure the organization attracts and retains top talent.
  • Work closely with business units to identify skill gaps, develop talent pipelines, and implement succession planning initiatives.
  • Manage employee relations issues, conduct investigations, and recommend appropriate actions to resolve conflicts and maintain a positive work environment.
  • Ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations, staying up-to-date on changes and advising management accordingly.
  • Implement and manage performance management processes, including goal-setting, performance reviews, and development plans.
  • Provide coaching and support to managers in addressing performance issues and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate with the Compensation and Benefits team to ensure competitive and equitable compensation practices.
  • Provide guidance on salary reviews, promotions, and incentive programs.
  • Utilize HR analytics to assess workforce trends and identify areas for improvement.
  • Prepare regular reports on key HR metrics for management review.
  • Lead and support organizational change initiatives, helping employees and leaders navigate transitions effectively.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or related field; Master's degree and relevant HR certifications are a plus.
  • Proven experience as an HRBP in the banking or investment industry.
  • Strong understanding of banking operations, regulations, and industry trends.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to influence and build strong relationships at all levels of the organization.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Knowledge of HR best practices, employment laws, and regulations.
