Job vacancy Managing Director (Logistic)

Our client is one of the international logistics & freight forwarding companies. With the office throughout the world, they are looking to have MD to take care of business in Thailand. Location: Bkk CitySalary: 300,000 - 400,000 THB / month (10k USD)
Responsibilities

• Leading the company and setting overall strategic direction of the company in the country
• Setting company budgets and forecasts, setting a key performance goal for the team.
• Develop Sales & Marketing efforts (including new client prospecting, develop suitable proposals for new customers) for the company to achieve revenue growth, secure new clients & expand the 3PL service portfolio in Thailand.
• Proposing and implementing efficient processes and procedures, provide guidance & direction for logistics solutions to customers & internal productivity/quality improvement projects
• Keep abreast of industry best practice and developments, and collaborate with the team and external partners/parties to develop new/improved capabilities for the business unit.
• Continuously develop tools/metrics that leverage on data analytics technology to measure the performance of supply chain and logistics work flows.

Requirements

• Minimum 10 years of experience in the Logistics & Freight Forwarding industry.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in a Managerial role, with a strong understanding in the Logistics industry.
• Proven knowledge and experience in Sea, Air, Cross border, Thai custom clearance, etc.
• Analytical, persistent, and possess a drive to see the company succeed.
• Strong presentation and communication skills (oral and written).
• Motivate, Direct & Develop the team to achieve their goals & targets
