Job vacancy Technical Manager – Animal Nutrition

Our client, a leading global producer of high-quality specialty nutrition products to the animal feed and farm markets, is seeking a Technical Manager who will be responsible for a specific export region for our clients' animal nutrition business.

This role will be based out of our clients' HQ in Germany and requires global travel once per quarter for ten days each time. The Technical Manager will report to the Regional Sales Director and be responsible for providing technical and scientific support for global sales teams.

As the interface between product management teams based in the HQ, and sales colleagues in global regions, for all technical aspects, the Technical Manager will manage technical presentations, seminars, participation at scientific conferences worldwide and oversee product application, positioning, and trials based on regional conditions.

We're looking for someone coming from a technical background within animal nutrition (poultry or swine) with great communication skills. The ideal candidate should be able to travel and forge strong relationships between HQ Product Managers and global customers and sales teams.

Qualifications:

• University degree in Agriculture Science, Veterinary Medicine or equivalent

• At least 5+ years experience in a technical role from the animal nutrition / feed industry.

• Poultry focus would be highly advantageous, but not essential.

• Strong presentation and communication skills

• Well organized team player with self-initiative.

• Fluent in English.

• Willingness to travel.
