Our client, a global supplier to the processed meats industry, is seeking a Technical Service Manager to lead technical capabilities throughout the APAC region, with a focus on South Korea, Taiwan, Thailand, the Philippines, Indonesia and Taiwan. This role will be a key part of the regional commercial team, delivering technical consultancy to customers and technical expertise to the regional sales team.

The ideal candidate will have a product development/R&D background from the savoury foods/functional ingredients segment. This regional role will require travel and will ideally based in Hong Kong.

Responsibilities include leading new product developments, collaborating on product enhancements, quality and process improvements, conducting product evaluations and leading the product complaint process. Qualifications:

• 5+ years in a technical / product development / research and development role.

• Experience from savoury foods / proteins / processed meats / functional ingredients.

• Technical capabilities and ability to conduct complex projects.

• Able to travel throughout the region and work with sales teams / customers.

• High performing team leader with excellent communication skills.

• Ability to work independently to build strong customer relationships

• Strong problem-solving, trouble shooting skills

• Fluent in English.

• Open to all nationalities with a view to working in Hong Kong.
