Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute sales strategies to meet and exceed revenue targets.
- Generate leads, set appointments, and present business proposals to potential customers through various communication channels, including face-to-face meetings, telephone calls, and emails etc.
- Identify and target potential clients in logistics and transportation industry.
- Build and maintain a robust sales pipeline through lead generation and prospecting.
- Present logistics solutions and services to potential clients.
- Negotiate contracts and pricing agreements with clients.
- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with existing clients.
- Address client inquiries, concerns, and issues in a timely and effective manner.
- Collaborate with clients to understand their logistics needs and provide tailored solutions.
- Monitor client satisfaction and work to ensure high levels of service quality.
- Stay informed about industry trends, competitors, and market conditions.
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities, contracts, and client interactions.
- Ensure compliance with all company policies and industry regulations.
- Collaborate with the operations team to ensure smooth and timely cargo shipments.
- Coordinate with Finance to make sure Gross Profit and Billing process.
- Monitor shipments and provide clients with real-time updates.
- Resolve any logistical issues or delays that may arise during transportation.
- Demonstrates ability to interact and cooperate with all company employees.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, logistics, supply chain management, or a related field is typically required.
- Minimum 2-3 years of sales experience in freight forwarding logistics or transportation industry and customs regulations.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Proficiency in sales techniques, including prospecting, closing deals, and managing client relationship.
- Familiarity with CRM software, sales analytics tools, and Microsoft Office suite.
