Salary: 80 - 95K
Japanese language skills: N2 – N1 Key Responsibilities:
- Support the Manager in managing day-to-day HR and GA operations.
- Assist in coordinating and implementing HR policies and procedures.
- Oversee recruitment and selection processes, including sourcing candidates, conducting interviews, and onboarding new employees.
- Handle employee relations matters, including performance management, disciplinary actions, and conflict resolution.
- Coordinate with relevant departments to ensure compliance with labor laws and regulations.
- Manage employee benefits administration and coordinate employee welfare programs.
- Assist in organizing company events and activities.
- Provide administrative support to the HR and GA departments as needed.
- Communicate effectively with Japanese GM and MD, including providing updates and explanations in Japanese.
- Collaborate with the Senior Manager to monitor progress and address any challenges or opportunities for improvement.
- Lead and mentor subordinates, providing guidance and support to enhance their performance and professional development.
- Ensure confidentiality and integrity in handling sensitive HR and GA information.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Proven experience in HR and GA functions, with at least 10 years of relevant experience.
- Strong understanding of HR policies, procedures, and best practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with employees at all levels.
- Proficiency in Japanese language, both spoken and written, to communicate effectively with Japanese GM and MD.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Prior experience in a managerial or supervisory role is preferred.
- Knowledge of labor laws and regulations is advantageous.
