Job vacancy Operation Manager (Shipping)

Our client is one of the large Shipping Lines companies.
Salary: 70,000 – 100,000 THB / month
Location: Bangkok
Responsibilities:

• Manage all aspects of operations, including vessel scheduling, cargo loading and unloading, port operations, and container management.
• Develop and implement strategies to optimize vessel utilization, minimize turnaround times, and reduce operating costs.
• Lead and motivate a team of operations staff, ensuring efficient coordination and execution of tasks.
• Collaborate with captain, port authorities, terminal operators, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless vessel operations and timely cargo handling.
• Monitor vessel performance and voyage profitability, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions as needed.
• Ensure compliance with maritime regulations, safety standards, and company policies at all times.
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement, encouraging feedback and innovation to enhance operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.
• Prepare reports and analyses to track key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide insights for decision-making.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in maritime studies, logistics, supply chain management, or a related field
• Experience working as a Captain is preferred.
• Knowledge of maritime regulations, port operations, and containerized cargo handling.
• Strong leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and empower teams to achieve goals.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
• Ability to communicate in Thail and English
