Koh Chang Karang Bay View Resort - Trat

Wу lived in a straw hut for 500 Bt per night from 02 till 04.01.2012. Only cold shower and no sink. The toilet is just a hole in the ground, you have to flush with dishes of water. There is a moscito net over the matrass. the mastras is hard, but no too much - we slept there like kids! The sound of the sea, but not too close so it could worry you, the smell of straw and lots of fresh air! We were afraid that some insects could get into the hut via holes in the straw, but no one appeared. There are also concrete bungalows for 4 persons for 1500 Bt, bur they are far less "authentic". The restaurant they have there is quite strange, they barely speak any English and the chairs and tables are worn and dirty. This does not imply low prices for food. A coconut shake costed 60 Bt against 40 in most of other places on this side of the island and was nothing special.
