DG-PID32E-B is a rugged purpose-built stand-alone IP connected Intelligent Passenger Information Display for bus applications which
require high service reliability and easy integration with other in-vehicle systems. The PID32E-B bases on a low power i.MX6 CPU
which can include Duragon’s proprietary firmware or third party PID-system Client Software. The intelligent display can deliver media
content combining video, animations with static or changing images on the HD resolution display. Route and operational service
information can be combined with rich advertising content.
Ethernet is used for integration with other on-board systems. Display content is not streamed over Ethernet, only control information is sent over the network. Media is stored in the PID32E-B and it can be updated over the main Ethernet backbone. The internal Ethernet switch with two external ports enables the connection of multiple PID32E-B displays in series. In case there is a HW or other
internal failure, the bypass relays will automatically disengage a faulty device from the Ethernet network. The PID32E-B can include a3G/LTE modem for remote system service and management access.
