Job vacancy Manufacturing Manager

Kawanishi, Hyōgo, Japan

We are assisting our client, a global supplier to the processed meats and sausage industry, in their search for a Manufacturing Manager to oversee all production activities at their newly acquired food processing factory in Kawanishi.

Joining a dedicated team of 40 employees, both full-time and part-time, this role will be an integral part of our clients' Japan management team, reporting to the Sales Director Japan and collaborating closely with our clients' global manufacturing teams.

The primary focus will be on building trust and motivating the existing team, whilst driving operational excellence. Extensive training from Van Hessen colleagues worldwide will be provided to ensure your success, with key objectives to; enhance raw material yield, reduce processing costs, improve product quality, and achieve budget forecasts for output, quality, and cost.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree qualified.

• 5+ years Operations / manufacturing experience. Open to all sectors as product experience will be provided.

• Global experience desirable but not essential.

• Experience of supervising and directing people and other resources to achieve specific end results within limited timeframes.

• Change management experience desirable

• Able to communicate in English.
