Job vacancy Sales Manager, Europe - Retail / Food Service

We are currently working on behalf of our client, a global producer of frozen value-added finger food and plant-based products, who are seeking a Sales Manager for the European markets with an initial focus on either France or Germany. This exciting role offers a hybrid work pattern based in the UK, with regular travel to France and Germany. However, it's important to note that the ideal candidate should be located within commutable distance to their office in London for weekly office work.

You will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities in retail and food service in either France and Germany, with expansion to Switzerland and Netherlands, driving sales growth and profitability for frozen value-added finger food and plant-based products

Qualifications:

• Must be fluent in English and either French or German.

• Sales experience from within the food industry, with a proven track record of success.

• Retail or Food service experience / contacts in Europe highly desirable but not essential.

• Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.

• Experience in project management and strong presentation skills.

• Ability to travel regularly to customers in Europe, and other international supplier bases.

What Our Client Offers:

• Salary GBP £40,000 - £60,000 / Annual – depending on experience

• Annual discretionary bonus – personal / company KPIs

• Pension 5%

• Annual leave - 25 days
