Our client looking for potential who can fulfill their requirement as following:Position:           Research Engineer
Salary:              60,000 - 70,000 Baht / mth
Location:          Chonburi Job description:

• Responsible for all process of domestic/ oversea innovation research in terms of design product.
• Work closely with engineering and product management team to source idea for products / Electrical & Mechanical components.
• Conducts research/ benchmarking to identify new sources, evaluate current solutions, analysis and validate the appropriate idea/ innovation.
• Ensure that new design is in comply with commercial, legal, and valid patents. Close cooperate with patent office.
• Devise, implement and oversee engineering strategies to meet cost saving targets.
• Compare products specification on the product / parts level and price.
• Facilitates cross-functional work groups (especially with engineering) to benchmark competitors product using cost-based and design-based methods.
• Analyze technical data and specifications to determine the part needed for projects to complete according to specifications.
• Benchmarks best in class procurement and strategic sourcing practices, monitoring technical level of the similar products and key components.
• Conducting research to identify solutions for industry problems.
• Develop concepts for existing or new products, processes, or equipment relevant to laundry industry.
• Design relevant products, equipment’s or technology base on concepts and ensuring functionality.
• Building products and system prototypes for testing purpose
• Using statistical processes to assess data.
• Manage and lead team of the design or research team.
• Coordinate timelines, Resources, and tasks to achieve project goals – support project leader.
• Writing research and grant proposal.

Qualification:

• Bachelor’s degree in any related field (Mechanical Engineering/ Electrical Engineer/ Mechatronics is preferable).
• Knowledge of Research system, metrology commercial in electronic industry.
• At least 2-5 years’ experience in research engineering and/or development.
• Ability to analyze products design, cost, technical documentation of the products to understand key requirements.
• Ability to observe, research and interpret concepts.
• Using analytical skills enables you to develop complex ideas, solutions, and improvements, which is a crucial responsibility of research engineers.
• Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook),
• 3D CAD is advantage.
• Good Command of English both spoken & written.
