The Hayward AquaRite provides complete pool and spa sanitization using ordinary salt. It converts a small amount of salt – approximately one teaspoon per gallon of pool water – into a virtually endless supply of fresh, pure chlorine. This environmentally friendly and self-renewing process produces up to 1.45 pounds of chlorine a day, enough to keep the water in a 40,000-gallon pool clean, clear and luxuriously soft.
How Does Salt Systems Work: by using safe electronic charge that produces chlorine from common table salt. The key to the Hayward Aquarite's effectiveness is their patented Turbo CellT, a specially designed converter that's connected to the control unit. As water passes through the Turbo Cell, an extremely safe electrical charge turns the salt you previously added to your pool water into fresh, sanitizing chlorine, which is then dispensed evenly throughout the pool - automatically. Just a teaspoon of salt per gallon is all it takes. Installation is quick, easy and is suitable for any new or existing pool.
