POSITION:           SERVICE ENGINEER – MACHINE

BUSINESS:           Auxilary machinery

LOCATION:          BANGKOK

SALARY:               40,000 – 70,000 THB

Responsibility:

• Installation, commissioning, and start-up of company products in Asia Pacific countries
• Troubleshoot and maintain company’s products, guiding customers on proper and effective spare parts purchases.
• Collaborate with sales, sales admins, and project engineers, sharing information and details of ongoing project activities.
• Work closely with the service manager, sharing issues experienced, actions performed, and technical considerations.
• Analyze and evaluate installation progress, ensuring alignment with given documentation (e.g., flowsheets, layouts, packing lists, electrical diagrams)
• Supervise and manage subcontractor activities for mechanical and electrical installations.
• Report any unscheduled waiting time due to material shortages or third-party delays, as well as any extra costs encountered during installation.
• Evaluate and report any lack or excess of material present at the installation site.
• Manage installation activities, reporting to the service manager and project manager.
• Monitor system performance during start-up, ensuring they are in line with company standards.
• Provide technical training to customers (operational and theoretical)
• Compile daily service reports for cases assigned in the company’s network, describing performed activities and their duration, and promptly uploading them into the system once completed.

Qualification:

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Mechatronic Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience in machinery service role, preferably in plastic processing machine or chiler.
• Good command of English 
• Willingness to work under time pressure without compromising the quality of work.
• Ability to travel within Asia Pacific and Europe
• Availability to work on weekends if required (not every weekend)
